Start with the function, cable diameter and construction if known, then identify the length reference points, coating or surface finish and the hardware at each end. A drawing, measured sketch or sample photo can support the first review when a catalogue name is not enough.
Made-to-Order Configuration Notes
Common configurations include eye loops with sleeves or thimbles, hooks, carabiners, threaded terminals, stop sleeves and coated sections. The selected cable and fitting must be reviewed together, especially where a coating transition, ferrule, sleeve or thimble changes the finished assembly.
