Overview
Cable grippers and suspension kits are used when a cable must support or position an item in a controlled installation. Define upper and lower fittings
The upper fitting may connect to a ceiling anchor, bracket, track or structure. The lower fitting may connect to the suspended item or pass through a gripper. These parts should be described separately. A kit may have a simple ceiling fitting on top and an adjustable gripper below, or it may use a Y-leg cable configuration.
Photos are valuable because suspension hardware can look similar while functioning differently. Include thread information, visible dimensions and any mating part details when available.
Packaging and set composition
Suspension kits are often ordered as sets. Buyers should state what one set includes: cable quantity, gripper quantity, ceiling fittings, lower fittings and any small hardware. If each set must be packed separately, say so in the RFQ. This is especially useful for installers and distributors.
